Yup, I used a onesie that I have to get the general idea of the shape, then i altered the length of the legs, arms and width to match the panda shape :D

YAY, I was just wondering, because some people used a hoodie for the general good and arms and worked off of their own copy of a kigurumi, (i don't have one lol. yet...) But anyway, Thank you for your help though :D

I used a hooded sweater only for the hood, i folded it along the curved seam (so that the edged were lined up) and traced that so i had one half of the hood, but then i added a seam allowance plus about 2 inches extra to the height so the hood has more volume - i hate really small hoods.

The only reason why I used a onesie is so that i had the width of the body correct and also because i could trace the outside shape of the legs, then starting at the center between the legs, i drew a line out to the sides so that when both sides were drawn, the middle piece was as round as possible, the way panda's tummies are.

You could easily use a hood, you'd just need to alter the pattern accordingly, depending on how wide you'd like the kigurumi to be.

If you'd like me to do a sketch of how to make the pattern then let me know and i'll help you out ^^
